Selig Suffolk Skincare is a range of handmade and wholesome products that originally came about after I’d been working professionally as a Holistic Therapist for several years. I decided to use the knowledge I'd gained in harnessing the healing power of natural ingredients to create an authentic collection of skincare products, with a genuine concern for purity and quality; using tried and trusted gentle ingredients that also deliver incredibly beneficial effects. The range consists of various Creams, Gels, Serums and Body Oils, for which originally, I have to thank the enthusiasm of my therapy clients, who were eager to try them out, and then came back for more... my warmest regards to them all.

I chose the name 'Selig' because it is an ancient Celtic word meaning 'Holy', and because Selig Suffolk was often coined as the county name when Dunwich was the Anglo-Saxon capital of the ‘Kingdom of East Anglia’. I chose to associate the water lily with the Selig Suffolk brand because of its sacred affiliation with purity, and photographed the one beside the title above, on the tranquil waters of the River Blyth.

Selig Suffolk Skincare products are also available to buy in person at the monthly Blythburgh Church mini market and cafe, from local Craft Fair events, and from two shops, Focus Organic in Halesworth and The Green Cupboard in Harleston.
